Data Entry Operator

This role supports departments such as finance, HR, sales, and operations by ensuring that information is reliable and accessible. Key Responsibilities Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems from paper documents, digital files, or verbal instructions. Verify and correct data by comparing source documents to electronic records and flagging discrepancies for review. Maintain and update records to reflect changes, deletions, or new entries while following data retention and confidentiality policies. Perform routine data quality checks and run basic reports to identify missing or inconsistent information. Support document scanning and indexing tasks and assist with simple data migration or cleanup projects. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily or weekly data-entry targets. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in office administration, computer applications, or related field preferred. Experience: 0–2 years of data entry or clerical experience is acceptable for entry-level roles; 2+ years preferred for senior positions. Technical knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic database systems; experience with data-entry software is an advantage
