Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and spares against purchase orders and delivery notes Accurately record receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP/inventory system ( SAP B1) Maintain optimum stock levels; trigger reorder points and generate material requisitions following approved procedures Pick, pack, and dispatch materials to work sites or internal departments; coordinate intra-site transfers Cycle-count and conduct physical inventories; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions Coordinate with procurement and vendors for urgent requirements, returns, and quality issues Prepare and maintain storeroom documentation: stock cards, bin cards, inspection reports, and audit trails Ensure proper storage conditions, labeling, and segregation of hazardous and high-value items Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards Assist in disposal, transfer, or auction of obsolete or surplus inventory per company policy Support ad hoc projects—site relocations, plant shutdowns, and special equipment moves.
