The Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Radiology Department is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient data, radiology reports, and departmental records in the hospital management system. The role ensures smooth coordination between radiologists, technicians, and patients to maintain efficiency and accuracy in documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and update patient registration details and radiology test information in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Maintain digital and physical records of radiology reports, films, and related documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery and printing of radiology reports for patients and doctors.
• Coordinate with technicians and radiologists for report status and case tracking.
• Verify data accuracy before final submission and rectify any discrepancies.
• Handle patient queries related to report collection and follow-up.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information at all times.
• Generate daily and monthly workload or report summary as per department requirement.
• Assist in billing coordination related to radiology tests.
• Ensure smooth data flow between front office, billing, and radiology sections.
