Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Location: Neelankarai, Chennai

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The role involves entering, updating, and managing publication-related data with accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling large volumes of information, maintaining databases, and ensuring data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update manuscript, author, and reviewer information into the publication database.
• Maintain accurate records of submitted, accepted, and published research articles.
• Organize and manage data in MS Excel spreadsheets and other internal systems.
• Verify, cross-check, and correct data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate basic reports and summaries for editorial and management teams.
• Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with IAEME’s publishing standards.
• Assist in preparing metadata for indexing and archiving.
• Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or related roles.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel (data entry, formatting, spreadsheets, and reporting).
• Strong typing speed with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with databases or content management systems (preferred).
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
