Data Entry Operator

A Data Operator is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in company databases and systems. The role ensures data quality, supports daily operations, and assists in generating reports. Key Responsibilities Enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and software systems. Verify accuracy of data before and after entry. Maintain and organize records in both digital and physical formats. Perform regular data quality checks and identify errors or inconsistencies. Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required. Assist other departments with data-related tasks. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Follow company procedures and data management standards. Skills & QualificationsBasic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, data entry software). Strong typing speed and accuracy. Good attention to detail. Ability to work with large amounts of data. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good communication skills. High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (depending on employer). Experience0–2 years of experience in data entry or similar roles (freshers may also apply). Additional Requirements (optional)Knowledge of database management tools. Familiarity with office equipment (printer, scanner). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
