Job Description

Job Title: Data Entry Operator (Accounts)

Location:

Job Overview

1–2 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Enter and update accounting data including invoices, bills, receipts, vendor details, and payment entries.
Verify data for accuracy and correct any discrepancies.
Maintain organized digital and physical accounts documentation.
Prepare simple Excel statements, daily reports, and basic MIS updates.
Assist with basic reconciliation and follow-up related to accounts payable/receivable.
Co-ordinate with internal teams for invoice or expense-related data when needed.
Complete daily office tasks during half-day in-office shift and finish remaining updates from home.

Required Qualifications & Skills (Must have)

Graduate from Commerce field (B. Com or equivalent).
1–2 years of experience
in data entry or accounts-related work.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, spreadsheets, and basic accounting software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and good typing speed.
Understanding of basic accounting terms (ledgers, vouchers, debits, credits).
Basic knowledge of Taxation, GST Duties etc.
Accounts receivable & payable management
Bank reconciliation & ledger maintenance

Required Qualifications & Skills (Preferred)

Monthly/quarterly closing & MIS reporting
GST input credit, reverse charge mechanisms
TDS/TCS applicable on freight & logistics transactions
Customs-related compliance understanding
Working knowledge of export incentives, duty drawback, LUT, etc.
Knowledge of accounting standards (Ind-AS/GST rules)
Ability to manage tasks independently across office and work-from-home hours.
