About the Role

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  data pipelines

  for ingesting, wrangling, transforming, and joining data from multiple sources.
• Leverage

  ETL tools

  such as Informatica, AWS Glue, Databricks, and DataProc to enable robust data integration workflows.
• Develop solutions using

  Python, PySpark, and SQL

  , ensuring code quality, reusability, and performance optimization.
• Implement

  data warehouse and lakehouse solutions

  including

  Snowflake, BigQuery, Delta Lake, and other modern data platforms

• Monitor and optimize data processing costs while addressing performance and scalability challenges.
• Apply

  DevOps practices

  for automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure efficiency in data engineering workflows.
• Design and implement

  data models and schemas

  for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Debug, test, and tune performance of pipelines while ensuring

  high-quality data delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience

  in Data Engineering and pipeline development.
• Proficiency in

  ETL tools

  (Informatica, AWS Glue, Databricks, DataProc).
• Strong coding expertise in

  Python, PySpark, and SQL

  .
• Proven experience in

  data warehousing/lakehouse technologies

  such as

  Snowflake, BigQuery, Delta Lake, or similar

  .
• Solid understanding of

  DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management

  .
• Ability to optimize costs and performance across large-scale data systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
