Big Data Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing solutions using

  Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and PySpark

  .
• Build and optimize complex

  SQL

  queries for data transformation, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop and manage data pipelines on

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  using services such as

  Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions

  .
• Perform data ingestion, processing, and integration from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Use

  Python

  for scripting, automation, data manipulation, and system integration.
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and scalability of big data solutions.
• Implement and follow

  cloud architecture best practices

  , including security, cost optimization, and high availability.
• Develop and deploy applications using

  containerization and orchestration tools

  such as

  Docker and Kubernetes

  .
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a

  Big Data Developer

  or

  Data Engineer

  .
• Hands-on expertise with

  Hadoop ecosystem tools

  (HDFS, Hive, Spark).
• Advanced knowledge of

  Spark and PySpark

  for large-scale data processing.
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  for querying and data modeling.
• Practical experience with

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  services:
• Compute Engine
• Cloud Storage
• BigQuery
• Cloud Functions
• Proficient in

  Python

  for data processing and automation.
• Solid understanding of

  cloud architecture concepts and best practices

• Experience with

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake architectures.
