Key Responsibilities: - Simplify the organization by developing innovative data-driven solutions through data pipelines, modeling, and ETL design to ensure commercial success while maintaining customer and data security. - Understand complex business problems and requirements to apply appropriate tools for gathering and building data solutions. - Engage with the data engineering community to deliver opportunities and carry out complex data engineering tasks to build a scalable data architecture. - Build advanced automation of data engineering pipelines to eliminate manual stages. - Integrate new data techniques into the business through role modeling, training, and experiment design oversight. - Provide a clear understanding of data platform costs to meet departmental cost-saving and income targets. - Source new data using appropriate tooling and develop solutions for streaming data ingestion and transformations. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of data usage and dependencies and experience in extracting value and features from large-scale data. - Practical experience in programming languages, data, and software engineering fundamentals. - Experience in ETL technical design, data quality testing, cleansing and monitoring, data sourcing, exploration, and analysis. - Knowledge of operational resilience, including incident management, incident detection, resolution, reporting, and optimization. - Understanding of data pipeline failures. - Experience working with ServiceNow, Airflow, Stream sets, AWS EMR, GitLab, and Snowflake. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders proactively.,
