Role Overview

Data Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define, design, and implement

  enterprise-level data architecture

  aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
• Develop

  conceptual and logical data models

  , ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance across systems.
• Architect and optimize

  ETL workflows, data pipelines, and integration frameworks

  on

  Azure cloud

• Partner with

  business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional groups

  to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Lead

  data engineering efforts

  , ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across platforms.
• Ensure

  enterprise data architecture standards

  are adhered to, including security, governance, and compliance.
• Act as a

  visible, proactive leader

  , engaging stakeholders and guiding teams with best practices in enterprise data management.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to

  data engineers and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years

  of experience in

  Data Architecture & Data Engineering

  .
• Proven expertise in

  data modeling (conceptual & logical)

  – beyond just dimensional modeling.
• Strong background in

  ETL design, pipeline development, and data engineering

  best practices.
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Data services

  (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).
• Experience working with

  enterprise data systems

  in complex industries (Oil & Gas preferred).
• Excellent

  communication and stakeholder management skills

  , with the ability to influence across business and technical teams.
• Proactive, visible leadership style with the ability to

  manage cross-functional teams

  and drive execution.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of

  data governance frameworks

  (e.g., DAMA, DCAM).
• Exposure to

  modern data platforms

• Experience with
