Position Overview:

iMerit is seeking detail-oriented annotators to join our Task Recording & Labelling team for AI training environments.

You will interact with synthetic websites, record realistic task sessions, and create precise labels that describe the actions performed.

All training, communication, and documentation will be in English with India-based trainers and project leads.

Role Responsibilities

 Recording Sample Tasks Execute task prompts on synthetic websites, replacing variables (e.g., {{name}}, {{company}}) with realistic, context-appropriate data.

Explore the site beforehand to understand existing data and workflows, to capture a clean final recording.

Avoid leaving default values in forms or edits; all inputs should be natural and believable.

 Labeling Tasks Review your own session recording and identify every action that creates, modifies, or deletes data.

Draft a single, clear label prompt that describes exactly what was accomplished so that another person can replicate the outcome.

Identifying and excluding non-substantive actions (e.g., navigation clicks, scrolling) and

specifying all modified field values (e.g., “Create an account with first name ‘Bruce’ and last

name ‘Wang’ located in San Francisco, CA”).

 Maintain consistent accuracy, follow formatting guidelines, and meet daily productivity targets.

 Communicate effectively with trainers and leads for feedback and clarification.

Skills & Competencies.

 Strong written English skills for precise task descriptions and internal communication.

 Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines.

 Comfort navigating web applications and accurately capturing on-screen actions.

 An analytical mindset to distinguish substantive changes from non-essential actions.

 Ability to comfortably perform tasks ranging from simple actions (e.g., posting a

message with an emoji in a chat channel) to moderately complex operations within

enterprise software such as CRMs, invoicing systems, or HR platforms.

 Self-motivation to explore unfamiliar interfaces and identify realistic input data.

Requirements

 Minimum educational qualification should be of a Graduate level in the stream of Accountancy & Finance. Additional skills/knowledge in enterprise software, such as CRMs, invoicing systems, HRMS, and CMMS platforms, are preferred

 English proficiency: B2+ CEFR or equivalent for clear training participation and

documentation.

 Bachelor’s degree/diploma or equivalent practical experience.

 Prior exposure to data annotation, content moderation, QA testing, or software usability testing

preferred.

 Reliable internet connection and ability to work in a virtual desktop environment.

Language Proficiency (CEFR Recommendation)

 English: B2–C1 — Able to comprehend detailed instructions, document complex actions, and

communicate effectively with global teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
