About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics & Mining Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to working with large datasets, extracting valuable insights, and supporting AI/ML projects through data preparation, transformation, and analysis.

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates with a passion for data, analytics, and problem-solving. You will work alongside experienced data scientists and engineers to contribute meaningfully to real-world business and AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Apply data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
• Support the development of predictive models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with the AI/ML team for feature engineering and dataset preparation.
• Use tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel for data extraction and analysis.
• Document data workflows, processes, and results for knowledge sharing.
• Assist in building dashboards and visual reports for business insights.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, and security standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of data mining concepts, statistics, and databases.
• Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib).
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work with large datasets in a systematic and detail-oriented way.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Prior exposure to data analysis, data mining, or machine learning (academic projects/internships preferred).
• Passion for learning and applying new data-driven techniques.
