Data Analyst - Revenue Operations (CPQ, CLM, Billing)

Role Overview:

The Data Analyst for Salesforce Revenue Operations will be instrumental in leveraging data to optimize quoting, contracting, billing, and revenue processes transitions from Conga CPQ/CLM and Billing to Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA). This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and revenue growth within the Salesforce ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, CPQ Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to analyze existing Conga data, ensure data integrity during migration, provide actionable insights, and facilitate a smooth transition to the new Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conga Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing Conga CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Billing data to understand current business processes, data structures, identify data quality issues, and inform migration strategies to Salesforce Revenue Cloud.

• Data Integrity for Migration: Play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the migration of historical Conga CPQ, CLM, and Billing data into Salesforce Revenue Cloud. This includes meticulous focus on data mapping, transformation, and validation for quoting, contract, subscription, and billing data.

• Process Optimization: Identify data-driven opportunities to optimize the end-to-Revenue process, from initial quoting and contracting to order management, billing, and revenue recognition, informed by analysis of both Conga and Salesforce data.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with CPQ Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver relevant, actionable insights that bridge the gap between legacy Conga data and future Salesforce operations.

• Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support critical business decisions and strategic initiatives related to the Lead-to-Revenue process during and after the migration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on revenue operations, finance, or sales data.

• Deep understanding of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes as a fundamental business discipline, enabling analysis across different platforms like Conga and Salesforce.

• Demonstrable experience analyzing data from legacy systems, particularly Conga CPQ, CLM, or Billing, for migration purposes.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with or experience supporting Salesforce Revenue Cloud (or Billing/Revenue Cloud) implementations or operations.

• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce data models, specifically Sales Cloud, and familiarity with Salesforce CPQ.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Direct experience working on data migration projects, especially involving transitions of CPQ, CLM, or Billing data between systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical data insights into clear business language.
