Description
As a member of the Ola Mobility Institute (OMI) team, you will be supporting the four Centres in various domains. Your role will involve articulating the tangible impact of research-backed recommendations, conducting techno-economic feasibility analyses, and more. Your responsibilities will include: - Research and Analysis: Conduct whole-of-system studies, socio-economic and techno-economic feasibility research, and modeling to measure and forecast the impacts of innovations and policy changes. - Economic Data Tracking and Quarterly Analysis: Collect and analyze macro and microeconomic data, and deliver quarterly analyses highlighting economic trends affecting OMIs focus areas. - Reporting and Documentation: Synthesize research findings into comprehensive reports and papers of various sizes. - Developing Policy Recommendations: Create evidence-based policy recommendations that enhance sustainable mobility, improve livelihoods, and promote innovation, supported by systems analysis and impact. - Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage actively with all four Centres within OMI and external partners. - Expert Presentation and Outreach: Present research findings and recommendations at various forums to share insights and influence the discourse on India's development and growth. - Innovation and Strategy: Identify new research areas and strategic opportunities leveraging economic insights to drive innovations in sustainable mobility, livelihoods, and more. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - 2-3 years of relevant academic, research, and industry experience. - Masters degree or PhD in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. - Strong ability in quantitative and qualitative economic and data analysis using a whole-of-systems approach. - Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MS Excel, Stata, R, Python) and data visualization tools. - Ability to solve complex problems with strategic solutions considering economic, environmental, and social impacts. - Experience in research related to urban mobility, electric mobility, energy, livelihoods, sustainable development, AI, semiconductors, or innovation is a plus.,
