Data Analyst

As a GMO MI - Data Analyst, you will be responsible for client service and operational execution tasks. Your role involves controlling risk and enhancing controls in your job areas according to rules and regulations. You will need to follow well-defined procedures, make judgments based on practice, and previous experience. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in: - Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of data analytics to interrogate data and produce quality management information for key stakeholders. - Using Business Intelligence Tools (Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BO, POWER BI) and data management platforms like SQL, AWS Redshift, MongoDB. - Knowledge of Banking Operations, specifically Markets products/processes, will be advantageous. In this position based in Chennai, your responsibilities include: Investigating and analyzing data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. Executing data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. Developing and applying advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. Documenting data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
