Job Description

Experience:

  • 3- 5 years overall, with a minimum of

    2- 3 years of hands-on experience

    in

    Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations

    implementations, along with strong domain knowledge in

    Finance & Accounting

    .

Role Overview:

  • We are looking for a

    Finance Functional Consultant D365 Finance & Operations

    who will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions across Finance modules.
  • The role involves working closely with clients to understand business requirements, configure and test Finance functionalities, and support solution delivery under the guidance of a Senior Consultant or Functional Lead.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working in an implementation, rollout, or support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in

    requirement gathering

    and

    business process discussions

    for Finance modules.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as

    BRD, FRD, FDD, and test scripts

    .
  • Configure core Finance modules including

    General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting

    .
  • Perform

    unit testing

    ,

    integration testing

    , and assist users during

    UAT

    .
  • Support

    data migration

    activities data templates, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Assist the senior consultant in

    gap-fit analysis

    , solution design, and deployment.
  • Provide

    end-user training

    and post-go-live

    functional support

    .
  • Coordinate with

    technical and integration teams

    for customizations and reports.
  • Ensure alignment of configurations with clients

    business and statutory requirements

    .
  • Contribute to

    project documentation

    , process standardization, and reusable solution components.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong domain background in

    Finance & Accounts

    (M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred).
  • Minimum

    12 full-cycle implementations

    in D365 FO / AX Finance modules.
  • Hands-on experience in

    Finance configuration, process mapping

    , and

    testing

    .
  • Basic understanding of

    Procurement & Sourcing

    and

    Project Accounting

    processes.
  • Exposure to

    Reporting tools

    (Management Reporter, Power BI) preferred.
  • Good

    analytical and problem-solving skills

    .
  • Strong

    communication and client interaction

    abilities.
  • Ability to work

    independently

    on smaller modules and

    collaboratively

    within a team.
  • Eagerness to

    learn and grow

    into a senior consultant role.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication and documentation skills.Positive attitude and ownership mindset.Ability to work under supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong sense of

    professionalism and accountability

    .Willingness to travel or work in a client-facing environment as needed.
