Role Overview

Cybersecurity Intern

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze system security alerts and logs.
Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures.
Conduct risk assessments and basic penetration testing under supervision.
Support in drafting and updating cybersecurity policies and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with IT teams to respond to and resolve security incidents.
Research emerging cyber threats, malware trends, and defense mechanisms.

Requirements

Pursuing/completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
Familiarity with tools such as
Wireshark
,
Metasploit
,
Burp Suite
, or
Kali Linux
(preferred).
Awareness of
OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
