Role Description

This is a full-time remote role designed for a Cybersecurity Intern. The intern will support the cybersecurity team by conducting risk assessments, monitoring for potential threats, and assisting with the implementation and enhancement of security measures. Responsibilities include analyzing system vulnerabilities, contributing to policy development, documenting compliance efforts, and researching emerging cybersecurity trends. The intern will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to compliance regulations and support audit preparation processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, risk analysis, and threat modeling
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, or HIPAA
• Proficiency in basic programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and foundational understanding of network security
• Strong research, documentation, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaboratively within a team
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
