We are a fast-growing Cloud Hosting company providing secure, scalable, and reliable hosting solutions to businesses worldwide. We are looking for experienced Support Engineers with prior exposure to cloud hosting and server administration, to join our team at Siruseri, Chennai.

Role Overview

As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hosting-related issues, and ensuring smooth operations of customer environments. You will work with global clients and internal teams, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer support requests through tickets, email, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot Linux/Windows server, hosting, and application issues.
  • Manage cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
  • Support and configure services like Apache, Nginx, MySQL, DNS, FTP, SSL, and email servers.
  • Perform domain setups, SSL installations, backup & restore operations.
  • Monitor server uptime, performance, and proactively resolve alerts.
  • Escalate advanced issues to senior engineers or DevOps teams when needed.
  • Document technical solutions, FAQs, and best practices for team use.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud hosting / web hosting / technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux server administration (Windows experience is an added advantage).
  • Familiarity with cPanel, Plesk, WHM, or other hosting control panels.
  • Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Ability to troubleshoot web/application performance issues.
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python) is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Good communication and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including weekends).
