Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled

Wi-Fi L2 Engineer

with strong hands-on expertise in

Aruba wireless networks

along with good knowledge of

routing and switching

. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support for Aruba Wi-Fi networks, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Handle incident, change, and problem management related to wireless infrastructure.
  • Perform root cause analysis for Wi-Fi issues and provide permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with the network operations team for routing and switching tasks as part of incident resolution and upgrades.
  • Assist in the deployment, testing, and validation of Aruba wireless controllers, APs, and related services.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Work with vendors and OEMs for escalations when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of experience in Wi-Fi (Aruba) network support and administration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Aruba wireless controllers and access points.
  • Working knowledge of routing & switching (Cisco/Aruba/Juniper preferred).
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications (Good To Have)

  • Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional (ACMA/ACMP)
  • CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching or Enterprise)
