Job Description

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for end-to-end delivery of contractsincluding hardware, software, and serviceswithin one Business Group (BG), ensuring revenue and profit in line with Nokias MoO, and acting as the primary point of contact for both customers and internal stakeholders, including agreed-upon scopes from other BGs closely tied to the main project.

  • 15+ years of relevant experience managing large-scale telecom projects, particularly in transport network technologies.
  • End-to-End Project Management Expertise in planning, executing, and closing complex telecom deployment projects.
  • Strong Financial Acumen to oversee budgets, revenue, cost control, and profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Management skills to handle escalations, foster trust, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Risk and Change Management capabilities to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and scope changes.
  • Leadership and Team Coordination to lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams effectively.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills for engaging with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Knowledge of Transport Technologies such as DWDM, OTN, IP Routing, and Telco Cloud/Fabric solutions.

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of the full customer contract scopeincluding hardware, software, and serviceswithin a Business Group (BG), ensuring alignment with Nokias Mode of Operations (MoO) and contractual commitments.
  • Manage financial and operational performance by achieving revenue, profitability, cost baselines, and driving forecasting accuracy, revenue recognition, and continuous efficiency improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer on all matters related to planning, execution, escalations, and overall service delivery.
  • Implement effective project planning and governance using Nokias Program Business Management (PBM) and PMI methodologies across financial, operational, and resource domains.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, regular reviews, and follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and changes to ensure project stability in terms of scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Lead the customer program management team, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and health & safety standards throughout the service execution process.
  • Maintain structured communication and alignment across all internal and external project stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure transparency.
  • Contribute to service business growth by supporting solution development, participating in pre-sales activities, and identifying new business opportunities.
