15 years full time educationSummary: We are looking for a Tableau Platform Administrator to manage and support our Tableau Servers. This role ensures the server runs smoothly, secure, and performs well. The administrator will also assist business users, data analysts, and developers with their data visualization needs. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of Tableau Server, security, and system monitoring. As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing application features, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly within the business environment. You will also engage in testing and troubleshooting to enhance application performance and user experience, while continuously seeking ways to improve processes and deliver high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Set up, upgrade, and manage Tableau Server across environments.. - Handle user access, roles, and permissions through Active Directory. - Monitor server performance and make improvements to keep it running smoothly. - Perform regular backups, apply updates, and manage recovery processes. - Review logs and system data to fix issues and improve performance. - Work with cross-functional teams to support Tableau Platform - Educate users and stakeholders on Tableau best practices and platform capabilities. - Keep up with Tableau updates and suggest improvements when needed. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows. - Engage in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met. Professional & Technical Skills: - Experienced in managing Tableau Server in an enterprise environment - Good understanding of Tableau architecture, licensing, and cluster setups - Hands-on with user authentication tools like Active Directory, SSO, LDAP and SAML - Good understanding of Windows server environments - Familiar with monitoring tools for performance and health checks. - Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving connectivity issues, slow dashboards, or failed extracts. - Basic knowledge of SQL and Tableau development tools. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Tableau. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights. - Experience with data visualization techniques to enhance reporting. - Familiarity with application development methodologies and frameworks. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Tableau. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
