Summary:As a Software Development Lead, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire product lifecycle or focusing on specific stages. Your day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your expertise in technologies and methodologies to support project goals, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client needs effectively. You will also be responsible for guiding your team through challenges and fostering an environment of innovation and problem-solving.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management solutions.Drive client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable functional designs.Define and implement Absence Plans, Accrual Formulas, Eligibility Profiles, Work Schedules, and Entitlement Rules.Integrate Absence Management with related modules such as Core HR, Time & Labor, and Payroll.Integrate Absence Management with Core HR, Time & Labor, and Payroll modules using AI-powered data validation and process automation tools.Apply agentic AI frameworks to automate repetitive configuration, testing, and release readiness activities.Manage the functional workstream for Absence/Leave Management across implementation, testing, and go-live phases.Collaborate with technical teams for extensions, reporting, and integration solutions.Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage cutover activities.Provide guidance and mentorship to functional consultants and analysts.Support presales and solutioning activities, including proposal development and client presentations.Stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and lead impact assessment and regression testing. Skills:10–14 years of total experience in the Oracle HCM domain.Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management.Strong knowledge of Core HR, Payroll, and Time & Labor integrations.Experience leading at least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations, deliver complex solutions, and lead medium-to-large teams.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client communication skills.Experience working in a global delivery model with distributed teams.
Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Absence/Leave Management.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Postgraduate degree (MBA HR preferred) is an advantage.
