What this job involves:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Concrete Works to oversee and manage large-scale concrete construction projects within commercial real estate developments. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead cross-functional teams, ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage end-to-end concrete construction projects from planning through completion
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineering teams
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety protocols
  • Review and approve concrete mix designs, testing procedures, and quality control measures
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide stakeholder updates on progress and milestones
  • Resolve construction issues and manage change orders effectively

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • 10-12 years of project management experience in concrete construction or related field
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Knowledge of concrete testing and quality assurance procedures
  • Experience with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction drawing interpretation
  • Strong understanding of building codes, OSHA safety regulations, and ACI standards
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience in concrete construction
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on project management experience in concrete works
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued at $5M+ with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
