Key Responsibilities: - Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices using appropriate methods. - Prepare and package instruments for sterilization according to established protocols. - Conduct quality checks to ensure sterility and functionality of instruments prior to use. - Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory management. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely supply of sterile instruments and equipment. - Participate in training and education programs for staff to ensure adherence to infection control practices. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the CSSD area. - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on sterilization equipment. Skills and Qualifications: - Diploma or certification in Sterile Processing, CSSD, or a related field. - Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
