Job Description

As an Incident Manager at Lenovo, your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate incident response efforts. You must assess and prioritize incidents, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and guide response efforts. Your strong technical knowledge of information technology systems and infrastructure, understanding of risk management and incident response frameworks, and experience in communicating with senior management are crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate incident response efforts - Assess and prioritize incidents - Communicate effectively with stakeholders - Enable and guide response efforts - Work under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations - Ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of incidents on operations - Identify, log, categorize, prioritize, and drive resolution of incidents - Oversee and ensure quick resolution of incidents with minimal impact on operations - Promptly identify incident types and severities and initiate appropriate response procedures - Maintain a well-documented incident response procedure - Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incidents Qualifications Required: - Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills - Clear understanding of incident management process - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to incident response and data privacy In addition to technical skills, you must possess strong soft skills such as effective communication, negotiation, conflict management, and crisis management abilities. The ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions under pressure are critical for success in this role. As an Incident Manager, you should have at least 5-6 years of technical proficiency and experience in incident management.
