Job Description Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Dispute Resolution Specialist to manage consumer credit disputes via the e-OSCAR platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately investigating, responding to, and resolving disputes submitted by credit bureaus, ensuring compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and internal policies. Key Responsibilities: • Review and respond to consumer credit disputes received through the e-OSCAR system. • Investigate disputes by analyzing account information, payment history, and supporting documentation. • Communicate resolution outcomes to Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) in a timely and compliant manner. • Submit corrections or updates to consumer credit data using the Automated Universal Data form(AUD) as needed. • Maintain accurate records of dispute activities and resolutions in internal systems. • Identify and escalate recurring dispute trends or systemic issues for further investigation. • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., compliance, collections, customer service) to gather supporting information. • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements (FCRA, CFPB guidelines) and company policies. • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with updates to the e-OSCAR platform and credit reporting standards. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • 2–4 years of experience in credit reporting, dispute resolution, or a related compliance role. • Familiarity with the e-OSCAR platform or similar tool and Automated Credit Dispute Verification(ACDV) process. • Experience in financial services, banking, or lending industries. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong skills with any RDMS database. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. • Excellent communication skills Preferred: • Working knowledge of FCRA, Metro 2 reporting, and credit bureau practices.
