Job Description

Role Overview: You will provide full leadership and supervisory responsibility, offering operational and service leadership to your team(s). Your expertise in risk analysis will be utilized to develop new techniques, models, and plans within your area of specialization. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential for this role as you will be responsible for the volume, quality, and timeliness of end results, impacting the overall performance of the sub-function/job family. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and validate methods for measuring and analyzing various risk types including market, credit, and operational risks. - Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling/validation for risk-related projects. - Utilize quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods such as SAS programming, SQL, and Visual Basic programming. - Prepare statistical and non-statistical data exploration, validate data, and identify data quality issues. - Analyze and interpret data reports, make recommendations to address business needs. - Use predictive modeling methods to optimize monitoring systems and present results to non-technical audiences. - Generate statistical models to improve data evaluation, identify trends, and relationships. - Automate data extraction and preprocessing tasks, design complex data manipulation processes, and provide documentation and presentations. - Ensure motivation and development of your team through professional leadership, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and daily task direction. - Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets by driving compliance with laws and regulations. Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in Credit Risk Model Development. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with demonstrated project management and organizational skills. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
