Credit Manager

Role Overview: As a Branch Credit Manager in the NBFC industry, your primary responsibility will be underwriting secured loan against property proposals. You will follow the laid down credit policies & procedures and conduct personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness. Additionally, you will ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification through telephonic, field, and collateral visits. It will be your responsibility to train the sales team on credit policy and assess income to obligation ratios with a deep understanding of the rationale behind the calculation of ratios and their impact on loan performance. You will also supervise Credit Processing Associates, provide guidance, coordinate with sales to achieve targets, and ensure SLAs are met. Your role will involve ensuring credit policy adherence to accepted standards and the ability to follow deviation matrix and foster decision making.
