Credit Risk Analyst

Role Overview:

As part of our dynamic onshore Credit Risk team, you&aposll be responsible for conducting forward-looking credit analysis and supporting rating reviews for a portfolio of global airlines, lessors, and other transportation sector entities. This is a high-impact role that blends quantitative rigor with strategic insight perfect for professionals eager to deepen their expertise in credit risk, structured finance, and aviation.

What Youll Do:

• Draft borrower credit rating reports and aircraft finance rating reviews
• Analyze and spread quarterly and year-end financials for aviation entities
• Monitor ongoing performance and risk exposure across assigned counterparties
• Build and refine cash flow forecast models to support credit recommendations
• Conduct due diligence for onboarding, renewals, and facility assessments
• Stay ahead of macroeconomic and sector-specific risks with in-depth research
• Prepare Loan-to-Value (LTV) analysis and support portfolio-level AFR assessments
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, providing insights that inform key credit decisions.

What Were Looking For:

• 4-10 years of experience in

  counterparty credit analysis and preparing credit approval memos

• Solid exposure to IG/NIG counterparties within first or second-line risk functions
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills with a knack for interpreting large datasets
• Business writing ability that clearly articulates risk, trends, and recommendations
• Aviation or transportation sector exposure is highly desirable
• Experience with cash flow modeling, credit due diligence, and structured finance principles
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and familiarity with ISDA/CSA documentation is a plus
• A proactive mindset with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate with global stakeholders.
