Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst/ARM at CredAble, you will play a crucial role in assisting Relationship Managers (RMs) in various aspects of credit underwriting, monitoring, documentation, sanctioning, and maintaining portfolio quality in alignment with desired standards and turnaround time (TAT). Your responsibilities will include supporting RMs/SRMs in revenue growth, asset book building, and expanding the client base, with a specific focus on startup coverage. You will conduct thorough research on the financial backgrounds of businesses and individuals to assess their creditworthiness. Additionally, you will appraise prospective clients, prepare Credit Appraisal Notes (CAN), and analyze financial statements to make informed credit decisions. Monitoring clients" compliance with credit terms, identifying early warning signals, and ensuring the quality of accounts/portfolio through periodic evaluations will be key aspects of your role. You will also evaluate industries and lending ecosystems to contribute to the creation of innovative lending products. Keeping abreast of key developments in the lending space and maintaining regular communication with internal stakeholders are essential to your success in this position. The ideal candidate for this role would have 2-5 years of experience in a similar ARM/Credit underwriting capacity, preferably with exposure to working capital and supply chain finance lending products in the Banking/NBFC industry. Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret financial data, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting, and effective multitasking capabilities are desired qualities. A CA qualification or an MBA in Finance would be advantageous for this position.
