Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst at Husky TechnologiesTM in New Delhi, India, your main responsibility will be to maximize receivables turnover and cash flow while minimizing bad debt and maintaining good customer relations. You will be tasked with managing credit and collection tasks for an assigned portfolio of Indian customers. Your goal will be to reduce the Accounts Receivable in India, with a special focus on decreasing past due invoices to a maximum of 6% by year-end. You will work on aligning commercial practices to improve collection processes, approving credit for orders, releasing shipments in ERP systems, preparing statements of account for customers, and providing necessary data for prompt cash receipt posting. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining and analyzing credit reports, trade and bank references, and financial statements to establish appropriate terms and limits in a timely manner. Monitoring account performance against terms, analyzing data, responding to customer inquiries, assisting in period-end close, and reconciliation processes will also be part of your role. Providing accurate data for monthly and quarterly reports, communicating issues to sales and manufacturing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with internal departments like Finance, Sales, Traffic, Sales Support, Manufacturing, and Service, as well as external entities like customers and financial institutions, will be essential. To qualify for this role, you should hold a University Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and ideally possess at least 1 year of commercial credit experience. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, proficiency with ERP systems, PC-based word-processing, and Excel spreadsheet software is required. Strong oral and written communication skills in English, excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. A persistent, persuasive, and enthusiastic personality along with good internet navigation skills will be beneficial for this position.
