Role Overview

As a Pop Culture Strategist at GoBoult, you’ll be the brain behind content that sparks conversations, drives cultural relevance, and lands GoBoult in every scroll, share, and industry case study.This isn’t just about making memes—it’s about owning the cultural moment: from viral news hijacks and festival banter to relatable reels and thumb-stopping posts. You’ll think fast, stay funny, and always stay on-brand.Your job: make GoBoult the brand everyone talks about without us even paying for it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moment Marketing Mastery: Spot and hijack real-time trends, news, and internet chatter—turn them into witty, shareable GoBoult content across formats (memes, reels, carousels, mashups).
  • Brand-Safe Storytelling: Craft humor and relatability within GoBoult’s brand voice; funny is good, but funny on-brand is what wins.
  • Hands-On Content Creation: Ideate, write, and (ideally) produce content yourself—static posts, captions, scripts, or short-form edits.
  • Organic PR Impact: Consistently create work that earns free buzz on platforms like Mad Over Marketing, Social Samosa, Social Media Dissect, etc.
  • Cultural Trendspotting: Stay ahead of internet culture, slang, regional humor, and Gen Z behavior to fuel content calendars and reactive campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Work with creative, influencer, and product teams to amplify cultural hooks into larger campaigns.
  • Measure & Optimise: Track performance via virality metrics (share rate, engagement velocity, organic pickup rate, media mentions) and use insights to refine output.
