Performance Creative Designer

high-converting, sales-focused image and video ads


not a branding role

not a social media post designer role


Your job is simple:

Make ads that sell.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Ad Creation

  • Design

    static/image ads

    for e-commerce performance campaigns.
  • Create

    short-form video ads

    for Meta and Google (UGC-style, product demos, problem–solution, before/after, offer-led).
  • Adapt creatives into multiple formats, sizes, and variations for testing.

Sales-Oriented Creative Thinking

  • Design creatives with a clear goal:

    clicks, conversions, and revenue

    .
  • Understand hooks, pain points, objections, offers, and CTAs.
  • Translate creative briefs, angles, and scripts into scroll-stopping visuals.

Iteration & Optimization

  • Rapidly iterate creatives based on performance feedback.
  • Improve existing ads (new hooks, visuals, formats) instead of always starting fresh.
  • Work with performance marketers to double down on winning creatives and kill losers fast.

Collaboration & Speed

  • Work closely with performance marketers and copywriters.
  • Deliver creatives quickly and consistently.
  • Handle high creative volumes without compromising clarity.

Requirements:

  • 1–4 years of experience

    designing

    performance marketing creatives

    .
  • Proven experience creating

    ads for e-commerce brands

    .
  • Strong portfolio showcasing:
  • Image ads
  • Video ads
  • Sales-focused creatives (not just aesthetic designs)
  • Proficiency in tools like

    Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut

    , or similar.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Mobile-first design
  • Hooks & thumb-stopping visuals
  • Clear CTAs
  • Direct-response layouts
  • Ability to work

    full-time from home

    with discipline and ownership.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience specifically with

    Meta Ads and Google Ads creatives

    .
  • Familiarity with

    UGC-style ads

    and creator-led formats.
  • Basic understanding of ad metrics like

    CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA

    .
  • Motion graphics or basic animation skills.
  • Ability to storyboard or concept video ads.

  • Prefer slow, branding-only design work.
  • Avoid performance feedback or iteration.
  • Care more about aesthetics than results.
  • Have never worked on ads meant to
