Take on a new challenge and apply your crash simulation expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our transportation systems. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, design, testing), perform simulations of collision scenarios, and propose design corrections for crash devices and supporting structures.Youll specifically take care of building numerical models and conducting crash simulations, but also calibrating these models and delivering high-quality reports.Well look to you for:
Supporting the definition of the energy absorption distribution and participating in the selection of crash devices to implement
Building numerical models of the rolling stock (RS) while ensuring the required level of quality
Performing crash simulations of collision scenarios, analyzing results, and proposing design corrections
Calibrating numerical models based on test results
Writing detailed crash simulation reports
Applying internal engineering instructions and methodologies
Proposing improvements to crash numerical methodologies
Conducting crash simulations of occupants interacting with interior features
Delivering crash reports on time and at the required level of quality
Reporting results and presenting findings to project stakeholders
Managing multiple projects in parallel

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Experience or understanding of crash simulations and numerical modeling
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools and methodologies
Familiarity with crashworthiness standards and regulations
A certification in crash analysis or FEA tools (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
