Courier

Roles and Responsibilities :

Collect, transport, and deliver parcels, documents, and goods to assigned destinations.

• Verify recipient information and obtain signatures upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
• Ensure the safety, security, and confidentiality of all deliveries.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
• Inspect, maintain, and keep delivery vehicle/bike in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Handle cash or digital payments when required (Cash-on-Delivery orders).
• Assist in warehouse operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (two-wheeler/four-wheeler as applicable).
• Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or similar role preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes and neighborhoods.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
• Basic customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit to lift and carry packages.

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role with frequent travel.
• Flexible work hours, including weekends or evenings, depending on delivery requirements.
• May involve handling packages of varying sizes and weights.
