Job Description

The Country Leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth across multiple unions/states within India. This role demands a high level of leadership, strategic thinking, and sales acumen to ensure the companys competitive positioning and growth in the region. Skill & Experience Sales Strategy and Execution Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with HCLSoftwares global objectives. Identify market opportunities and drive initiatives to capitalize on them across multiple unions / states. Set and achieve new software sales targets for the region, ensuring consistent revenue growth. Team Leadership and Management Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales teams, setting and achieving sales targets for each country / product. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer value. Drive revenue growth and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met in all countries. Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent across the region. Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers and strategic accounts across the region. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Address and resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively. Market Analysis and Insights Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence. Adapt sales strategies to meet the evolving needs of the market. Revenue and Financial Management Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement corrective action as needed. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with other regional leaders and global teams to align sales strategies and initiatives. Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market. Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative sales techniques. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within the software or technology industry, with experience managing multiple countries or regions. Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets. Strong understanding of the regional market and regulatory environment. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
