Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement and Sales: Greeting customers and understanding their jewelry needs and preferences. Introducing Tanishq's product offerings, including different types of jewelry, gemstones, and metals. Providing expert advice and guidance to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. Achieving individual and team sales targets. Upselling and cross-selling products to increase sales volume. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Product Knowledge and Expertise: Staying informed about the latest jewelry trends and product knowledge. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Tanishq's product range, including gold, diamonds, and other precious metals. Customer Service Excellence: Providing personalized and attentive service to ensure a positive customer experience. Building rapport with customers and addressing their queries and concerns. Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and effectively. Store Operations and Maintenance: Assisting with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and restocking jewelry. Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Ensuring proper display of products at the designated counters. Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store operations. Sharing customer feedback with the store manager for business improvement. Assisting with BTL (Below the Line) marketing activities. Other Responsibilities: Adhering to company policies and procedures. Maintaining safety and security of products displayed. Monitoring dead stock and minimizing losses. Skills Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Customer service orientation. Product knowledge and the ability to learn about new products. Ability to work in a team and independently. Proficiency in handling cash and credit card transactions. Basic computer skills. Education and Experience: Typically, a high school Some positions may prefer a HSC Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods industry, is often preferred.
