Counter Operations (Foreign Exchange)

As a Foreign Exchange Sales Executive, your role involves handling daily walk-in and online foreign exchange inquiries and transactions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with both individual and corporate clients. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing tailored solutions for customers related to foreign exchange products such as buying/selling foreign currency, travel cards, and remittances. - Educating clients about currency rates, market trends, and relevant compliance procedures. - Achieving individual and team sales targets for foreign exchange products. - Ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory and company guidelines (KYC/AML). - Resolving customer complaints and queries efficiently and professionally. - Maintaining accurate records of transactions and client interactions. - Collaborating with internal teams (operations, finance, compliance) to ensure smooth execution of services. - Staying updated on currency market trends, global financial news, and competitor offerings. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Experience: 1-3 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in foreign exchange, banking, or financial services. Skills that will be beneficial for this role: - Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills. - Good knowledge of foreign exchange processes and currency markets. - Sales-driven mindset with the ability to build rapport with clients. - Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools. - Ability to handle pressure and meet targets. - Certifications (Preferred): AMFI/IRDA or other financial service certifications.
