Role Description

Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for students and parents
• Understand academic interests and career aspirations to provide accurate program recommendations
• Support students throughout the application, documentation, and visa assistance stages
• Manage and prioritize student queries via calls, walk-ins, and digital channels
• Maintain updated knowledge of global education systems, universities, and entry requirements
• Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless student experience
• Maintain records and progress tracking through CRM systems
• Achieve monthly counseling, conversion, and application targets

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student-handling skills
• Strong understanding of the

  Study Abroad process

  (mandatory)
• Ability to explain program options clearly and handle objections professionally
• Experience in counseling or academic advisory roles
• Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, Freshsales, HubSpot preferred)
• Empathetic, patient, and student-centric approach
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance expectations

Compensation Structure

• Fixed Salary:

  Up to ₹3.6 LPA

• Incentives:

  ₹3,000–₹5,000 per successful student application/visa stage

• Performance Bonus:

  Based on quarterly student conversion metrics
