Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Counsellor to join our team in the Middle School sector. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of NEP 2020 & NCF as per CBSE norms.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, teachers, and parents on academic and personal matters.

Develop and implement effective counseling strategies to promote student well-being and achievement.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address student needs and concerns.

Conduct workshops and training sessions on topics such as time management, study skills, and conflict resolution.

Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student interactions, and progress notes.

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and community members to promote the school's mission and values.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling or a related field, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with diverse groups.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Knowledge of child development principles and practices, including cognitive, social, and emotional learning theories.

Experience working with middle school students, focusing on their unique challenges and opportunities.

Familiarity with educational technology tools and software applications used in counseling.

Proficiency in .pdf, .doc, and .docx file formats.
