Initiatives such as Apna Ghar, Blood Bank Upliftment, Patient Assistance Programs and Community Initiatives have demonstrated its impactful and transformative results by touching 2million + lives in 25 states and union territories, leaving profound impression in hearts of those who have benefited. The Foundations team spearheads program strategy and outreach across India.

Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated social work professional to provide essential mental health support to individuals and families affected by haemophilia, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

Primary Responsibility:

Counselling for NCD Patients

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with haemophilia patients to address psychological challenges arising from the condition.

Facilitating Support for Haemophilia Patients

  • Reach out to haemophilia patients to assist with factor and prophylaxis, coordinate self-infusion and awareness camps.
  • Organise physiotherapy and medical camps aimed at promoting homecare practices among haemophilia patients.

Engage with Healthcare Community

  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to provide consultation support for haemophilia patients.
  • Visit hospitals and healthcare institutions to liaise with service providers.

Maintain Records

  • Ensure timely maintenance of patient counselling and service reports.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Candidate should have comprehensive understanding of healthcare scenario in the state and various programs and schemes related to NCDs and rare blood disorders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and administrative matters.
  • Candidates with experience in non-profit sector/NGOs will be preferred.
  • Skills in MS Office tools, English language (written/verbal) and local language proficiency (written/verbal).
