The Centre Officer qualifications are a graduate degree, diploma, some college education and previous work experience in a related field. Ability to be empathetic and handle the beneficiaries maturely as the role would involve supporting the needy families Reporting to: Centre Lead Key Responsibilities The CO oversees daily cleanliness and order at Centre, including cupboards and kitchen; supervise housekeeping staff/cleaning of rooms by parent Ensures infection control at the centres Generally, look after families at centre, and support them in emergencies Maintains discipline and monitors that schedules are followed in the centre Handles the orientation of new families - explaining rules and regulations on arrival; Managing discharge of families Refers families to Centre Lead for counselling Provides data and documentation of patients and families for input in MIS, Daily and Monthly Report Maintains records and registers at centre Works with the Admin. Department to ensure any maintenance work is on schedule Provides a list of items required at the Centre to the Purchase Manager in timely manner Undertakes distribution of laundry and maintain laundry bills Ensures the distribution of starter packs, inventory, donations, rations and supplements Uploads selected pictures to the Google Drive Ensure centre is ready for visitors; arrange display, flowers, camera Qualification and Experience Looking for a Candidate with a Bachelors/Masters in Social Work/Management/Social Sciences, who has a background of working in social sector/healthcare/early childhood schools, worked in a team, have good Interpersonal, Counseling and guiding skills with 2-3 years of experience (preferably in an NGO). Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferable, and being computer savvy Word, Excel etc. is preferable.

Role & responsibilities Conducting Classes: Tutor will teach children aged 9+ in subjects like Math, Science, English, and other subjects, tailoring lesson plans to match the child's academic level and school board. In addition, if a child wishes to explore other subjects, the tutor will support them in doing so. Use of Tools: Tutors will incorporate engaging teaching tools such as visual aids, props, and digital platforms like Google Classroom for online sessions with discharged children. Virtual Engagement: The tutor will maintain contact with returnee children through virtual platforms once they return home, offering ongoing support to keep them motivated and engaged in their studies. Observations and Feedback: The tutor will observe classes, maintain a daily class roster, and provide consistent feedback on student progress. Engagement Beyond Classes: When unavailable for direct teaching, tutors will work with the Centre SPOC to pre-plan and assign meaningful academic tasks such as assignments, research projects, or theme-based activities, ensuring the children remain engaged and learning. Fostering Growth and Critical Thinking: Tutors will contribute to the academic growth of students, fostering a growth mindset and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Collaboration: Tutors will work closely with parents and staff to monitor and improve student performance and ensure continuous academic progress. Occasionally, the Tutor may be delegated some education related tasks for older children during annual events such as the Infection prevention week or the Educational Annual Events. Requirement & Skills Previous experience as a tutor or in a similar educational role minimum 5 years Familiarity with Social and Emotional Learning skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively supervise and engage with children Patience, flexibility, positivity, consistency, dependability, and teamwork Ability to accept and incorporate feedback constructively Fluent in English speaking and writing B.Ed. with compulsory experience of teaching children up to 12 year and above children (ICSE board).
Key Responsibilities Counselling will take into account the emotional and psychological needs of the beneficiaries and staff Help identify, understand and treat behavioural changes attributable to the treatment of disease. Counselling Parents on the following occasions: * Induction post 3 weeks * During stay as needed by Parents or as recommended by Centre Staff or felt necessary by the counsellor himself * Exit counselling just before discharge * As and when required after the return Counselling beneficiaries on behavioural issues brought to the counsellors notice or any medical or other need of the beneficiaries. Is responsible for providing follow up counselling as needed. Provides regular feedback to Centre Leads to help them handle situations in the centre. Conducts group sessions to guide common problems faced by families. Counselling Staff * If behavioural issues have been brought to notice by colleagues/ seniors or families * If the staff has their own emotional needs Documentation * The counsellor shall also complete documentation after every counselling session in the expected format in the way that such information can be easily retraced to as and when required, fully bearing in mind the aspect of confidentiality, * Submits regular detailed reports Desired Competencies Excellent and fluent in written, oral communication skills in English, Hindi, Marathi. Good written and verbal presentation skills Sound knowledge of computer applications, including excel, PowerPoint, Mail champ Bent of mind for understanding social issues Ability to work independently, without constant direction Ability to identify work Relationship building (inter-personal skills) Strong execution mind set
