Role: Costing Expert (Modular + Solid Wood)

• Experience Required: 3–10+ years

• Industry Preference:

  Modular furniture / Kitchens / Wardrobes / Solid wood (Export or Domestic market)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate costing for:

Modular kitchens

Modular wardrobes

Modular furniture systems

• Solid-wood and engineered-wood furniture
• Analyze drawings, BOQs, and product specs to create detailed cost sheets.
• Work closely with the design, production, and procurement teams to ensure precise material and hardware costing.
• Evaluate hardware (Hettich, Häfele, Blum, etc.) and material combinations for best price-to-performance.
• Maintain costing templates and update pricing based on market trends.
• Ensure all costing aligns with export/domestic quality standards and compliances.
• Assist in quotation preparation and pricing strategies for B2B clients, architects, and export buyers.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3–10+ years of experience in

  furniture costing

  , preferably in modular kitchens/wardrobes or solid-wood furniture.
• Strong knowledge of modular manufacturing processes, panel optimization, edge banding, hardware costing, and assembly systems.
• Experience with BOM/BOQ preparation and estimation software (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with

  export costing, FOB pricing

  , and domestic project costing.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent with numbers.
• Ability to coordinate between design, production, and procurement teams.
