Costing Engineer (Fabrication)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Costing Engineer (Fabrication), located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for estimating costs for fabrication projects, preparing detailed cost reports, analyzing project specifications, and coordinating with various teams to ensure cost efficiency. The engineer will also be involved in cost control and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring budgets are maintained.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cost estimation and cost analysis
• Experience with project management and coordination
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using relevant software tools for cost estimation and analysis
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Certification in cost engineering or related field is a plus
• Prior experience in the steel or construction industry is advantageous
