Cost Estimation Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation. Your insights will play a critical role in budgeting, tendering, and decision-making across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and related documents to understand project requirements and scope.
• Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.
• Liaise with architects, interior designers, engineers, and project managers for cost-related inputs and clarifications.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for price comparison and validation.
• Maintain and update a cost database for commonly used items and services.
• Prepare tender submissions, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost plans for new projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide value engineering solutions where applicable.
• Track changes to the design and update budget estimates accordingly.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure budget alignment with vendor negotiations.
• Support post-tender evaluations, cost control processes, and project closeout documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation in architecture, interior design, construction, or fit-out firms.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, pricing trends, and market rates.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, MS Excel, Bluebeam).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or airport projects
