Job Purpose:-

Cost Controller

Key Responsibilities:-

Cost Analysis & Variance Reporting:-

• Develop and maintain

  standard costs

  for products, including Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Analyze

  actual vs. standard production costs

  , investigate variances, and prepare detailed reports.

Budgeting & Forecasting:-

• Collaborate with department heads to

  develop annual budgets

  .
• Track performance against budget and highlight

  cost reduction opportunities

  .
• Provide

  cost forecasts

  to support production planning.

Inventory Control:-

• Monitor raw material and finished goods

  inventory levels

  .
• Track

  inventory turnover

  , highlight slow-moving/obsolete stock, and resolve discrepancies.

Cost Reduction Initiatives:-

• Identify and implement

  cost-saving measures

  across production processes.
• Work with operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  

Reporting & Analysis:-

• Prepare regular

  cost reports, breakdowns, and KPIs

  .
• Use production data to identify

  trends and cost drivers

  .
• Provide

  decision-making insights

  to management.

Internal Controls:-

• Ensure compliance with

  internal cost-control systems

  .
• Monitor risks associated with production costs.
  

Benchmarking & Forecasting:-

• Conduct

  day-wise cost analysis

  of critical BOMs.
• Provide

  cost-prediction analytics

  and procurement recommendations.
• Benchmark against leading

  global Tier-1 manufacturers

  (Ingot–Wafer–Cell–Module).

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

• Strong

  analytical skills

  with ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Expertise in

  cost accounting principles and practices

  .
• Deep understanding of

  manufacturing processes and operations

  .
• Proficiency in

  ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  ,

  .
• Excellent

  communication and presentation skills

  .
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently.

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 10+ years of corporate experience

  , preferably in

  Solar Manufacturing

  or similar large-scale manufacturing.
