As a Project Cost & Planning Controller at Collated Ventures, you will play a crucial role in overseeing project budgeting, cost control, billing, and cross-functional coordination to ensure financial efficiency and accountability across real estate developments. You will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure the successful execution of various projects. Your responsibilities will include: - **Project Budget Management**: - Review and analyze budgets for multiple projects from initial planning to project completion. - Continuously monitor project budgets to ensure adherence to financial plans and identify any variances. - Create cost comparisons with market rates and share valuable observations. - **Cost Allocation & Control**: - Ensure accurate allocation of costs to the appropriate cost codes. - Act as a Cost Controller and Planning Controller, overseeing project expenditures and resource planning. - Identify potential overruns, suggest saving opportunities, and record reasons for variations. - **Tender & Documentation Review**: - Review various tender documents including BOQ, STC, GTC, Safety Requirements, Technical Specifications, HR Requirements, etc. - Ensure that all Work Orders (WOs) and Purchase Orders (POs) align with project budgets and tender requirements. - **Billing & Execution Verification**: - Review and verify all project-related bills to ensure alignment with approved WOs/POs. - Confirm the actual execution of work on-site before bill approval. - Coordinate with the finance team and vendors to address any deviations. - **MIS Reporting & Forecasting**: - Prepare and present monthly MIS reports covering Budget vs Commitment, Budget vs Actual, Commitment vs Actual, WO/PO-wise expenditure tracking, and variance reports. - Develop and review monthly progress of projects and compare them with projections/estimations. - **Cross-Functional Coordination**: - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Project Team, Planning Team, Site Team, Techno-Commercial Team, Procurement Team, Accounts Team, Consultants, and Vendors. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance, or Construction Management (MBA preferred). - 5+ years of experience in project cost control, budgeting, or planning within the real estate or infrastructure sectors. - Strong understanding of project financials, procurement processes, and MIS reporting. - Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
