Cost Accountant

Role Overview: As a Costing Analyst at our company, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain costing masters for all GDI plants. You will be involved in finalizing NBAQ costing, tracking program development cycles, calculating model-wise margins, and conducting inventory control and valuation. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial inventory schedules, direct material consumption analysis, and validation of improvement proposals from the shop floor. Your role will require a good understanding of financial accounting entries, proficiency in SAP and Excel, and experience in product costing and cost rate finalization. Key Responsibilities: - Creating and maintaining costing masters for all GDI plants - Finalizing NBAQ costing for all GDI plants - Tracking program development from C1 phase to G8 closure - Calculating monthly model-wise margins and highlighting variances with Budget - Conducting inventory control, valuation, and variance analysis - Reconciling actual material margins based on MIS and comparison with VCor - Handling financial inventory schedules, related party transactions, and direct material consumption analysis - Maintaining inventory module in MFG Pro of GDI plants - Validating improvement proposals and cost calculations from the shop floor - Demonstrating good understanding of financial accounting entries - Working in SAP environment and having a command over Excel Qualification Required: - Education: ICMA/ICWAI - Experience: 5-6 years post qualification experience, preferably from the manufacturing sector Additional Details: The ideal candidate for this role should possess expertise in Advance Excel, be fluent in English with a global mindset, have experience working in an MNC manufacturing organization, and demonstrate a results-oriented approach with good written and oral communication skills.
