As a Cost Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving cost reduction initiatives and optimizing our organization's cost structures to improve efficiency and profitability. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing existing cost structures, including direct and indirect costs, to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction opportunities. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, procurement, and finance to gather data, assess cost drivers, and develop cost reduction strategies. - Conducting cost analysis and variance analysis to track performance against budgeted costs and identify areas of overspending or inefficiency. - Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, supplier negotiations, and resource optimization efforts. - Preparing cost models and financial projections to assess the potential impact of proposed cost reduction initiatives on the organization's financial performance. - Monitoring and reporting on the progress of cost reduction projects, tracking savings achieved, identifying obstacles, and recommending adjustments as necessary. - Providing support in the preparation of cost reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and ROI analysis to management and key stakeholders. - Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cost management and cost reduction strategies. - Collaborating with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements in cost reduction activities. Qualifications & Experience: - ICWA degree is required. - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in cost reduction, budgeting, and related areas of Cost Accounting & Financial Analysis in the FMCG industry.
